"So, if anyone ever questions you, you just tell them you are a deep well. A deep well with a bucket."

Thus were the words of KC to me...it must have been several years ago now. She is one of the many people in my life that I needed to meet. You know those people? The ones that when you meet them and they start to put their handprints all over your soul you think, Oh! Well thank goodness you're here. I didn't know it for a long time, but I've been waiting for you. Those ones?

Yes, she was one of those.

I am still thinking about what she meant when she said that to me.

I think it has much to do with potential for giving.

Each and every one of us is a deep well - whether we recognize it or not. Wells full of wisdom, of favorite jokes, of secrets, of desires, of lessons learned, of advice, of foresight, of stories, of...LIFE really. I think one of the most important ways to find that ever illusive, yet ever sought-for sense of "success" is to realize that in our hands we also have a bucket, from which to draw from the reservoirs of others and reach down inside and share our own.

I think life is infinitely better when we realize that we have something to offer...and that each person we meet has something for us to receive.

So, I thought I'd share a few things that I have pulled from others' wells. And maybe along the way I will be able to share from my well with you.
